MTNers offer a helping hand, 21 Days of Y’ello Care

For the third year running, MTN Cyprus management and staff will this month offer a helping hand to improve life in the community. As part of the “21 Days of Y’ello Care” programme, MTN staff will build new and improve existing facilities at the GSP stadium in Nicosia to help people with disabilities enjoy the excitement of a football game at the stadium with other fans. MTN will also help create an additional first aid station for the GSP stadium.

Moreover, MTN teams will paint the Cyprus Red Cross Children’s Home and the Iliaktida Zois non-profit foundation, which provide care for children with physical disabilities.

The end of the “21 days of Y’ello Care” will be marked by big fund-raising event, which will include a football match and various activities for children. The money will be donated to the Special Olympics.

Launched in 2007, the “21 days of Y’ello Care” is a volunteerism program throughout the 21 operations of the MTN Group in Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Europe. The initiative aims to encourage MTN staff become more personally involved in community uplifting projects.
