MTN Group achieved a top 10 ranking in the World’s Best 40 Global Companies survey by the leading global management consulting firm, A. T. Kearney. The survey was compiled for BusinessWeek, an influential international business publication with more than 4.7million weekly readers in 140 countries. MTN Group ranked at an impressive 7th place alongside the likes of Nintendo, Google and Apple making it the only African company in the top 10 bracket of the World’s Best 40 Global Companies. The survey found that MTN had shown a commitment to innovation, diversification of its portfolios, aggressive expansion, strong leadership and a clear vision for the future. Commenting on the achievement, MTN Group Executive Corporate Affairs, Ms Nozipho January-Bardill said: “MTN is proud of this achievement which is an acknowledgement of the progress we have made in building our business and our brand over the years.
