Setting a Monthly Limit for Internet Access when travelling to EU countries
MTN Cyprus announces that as of 1st March 2010, its subscribers have the opportunity to set a maximum charges limit of €50 for their internet access through their mobile/computer, when traveling to EU countries. MTN subscribers may set their €50 monthly limit (which corresponds to a 20MB usage) by sending a blank SMS to 8222 (free of charge). Subscribers will be informed by SMS when their internet charges reach the €50 monthly threshold. If the said threshold is exceeded, internet access will be cut off. In the event that subscribers wish to continue using the internet service while abroad, they may contact +357 96 96 98 94 (charges according to the subscriber’s destination) to reactivate the service.
