MTN Goal Alerts

With MTN’s new Goal alert service you may now track your favorite team’s results on the go. You simply select the team/s you want to track and you will receive SMS alerts on your mobile every time there is an event of your selected team. You will receive an SMS alert for the following events:

• Goal
• Match End (Including Final Score)
• Match Start
• Full Time End (different from “Match End”)- this is when the 90 minutes are over, and there will be extra time- score to be included
• Extra Time Goal
• Extra Time End with penalties to follow (if not taken to penalties including Final Score)
• Extra Time End with penalties to follow (if taken to penalties including Final Score)
• Penalty Shoot Goal ( including current penalty score)
Penalty Shoot Goal ( including current penalty score)
• Final Result after Penalty ( including final penalties score)
• A game has been Postponed
• Goal has been cancelled
  
  

To activate the service and select a team you may send a text message to the following short code 1122 with the text Goals on (team code)

To deactivate all teams and to stop receiving alerts send Stop All to 1122

To deactivate a particular team from your profile send Goals off (team code) to 1122

Charge for the service:

• The charge per SMS sent to 1122 is €0.019 (including VAT)   
• Each alert received will be charged at €0.10 (including VAT)
