Technical Reporting Expert - Nicosia

The role:
We are currently looking for a Technical Reporting Expert, who will create the technical reporting framework. Additionally, to produce such technical reports, which facilitate the efficient and timely tracking of projects, budgets and performance within the Technology division, according to the MTN overall strategic targets and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for project communication management through presentations and executive reports.
  • Coordinates with the project coordinators and the various stakeholders to report project implementation progress.
  • Prepares reporting input templates to collect data that are necessary for reports from the various data owners.
  • Works with the various data owners to timely collect the necessary data for preparing reports, either ad-hoc or on a scheduled basis.
  • Manages and prepares Technology Performance reports, Service Provider reports, Product Development reports.
  • Works directly with the CTIO for preparation of Technology presentations and progress reports.
  • Facilitates in the communication of Technology matters, both internally and externally.
  • Prepares and/or reviews monthly, quarterly and annual Reporting Packages as required.
  • Prepares technical consolidated reporting for internal and external users.
  • Facilitates the preparation of reports requested by other divisions or bodies.
  • Prepares Group reporting, including monthly management packs, ensuring they are completed in line with Group deadlines.
  • Identifies, analyses and reports relevant measures that track progress towards corporate goals, including driving the appropriate use of performance metrics.

Knowledge/Education:

  • Postgraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or Accounting/Finance or Business Administration.
  • PMP Certification will be considered as an advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position, with proven high quality presentation and reporting skills.
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Excel skills, including v-looks and pivot tables is essential.
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Power Point and Word.
  • Experience in budgeting and budget planning including development of annual budgets, forecasting and variance analysis.

Transmission Network Planning Engineer - Nicosia

The role:
We are currently looking for a Transmission Network Planning Engineer, who will be responsible for delivering designing, planning, dimensioning and reporting for the Transmission Networks. Furthermore, providing cost optimized, reliable and high-performance Transmission Networks solutions, according to the MTN overall strategic targets and the guidelines given by Transmission Networks Planning Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Plans, designs and dimensions (hardware and software) the Transmission Network.
  • Calculates link budged calculation for wire or wireless connection by using advanced s/w applications.
  • Decides the most cost effecting equipment (antennas / wireless transmitters / optical sources Lasers / etc) for each solution.

Access Networks Planning Engineer - Nicosia

The role:

The role:

We are looking for a Database Administrator who will be responsible to manage the Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL and other types of databases under his responsibility. Furthermore, will provide support to various applications that will be assigned to him such as ERP and Campaign Management.

Responsibilities: 

  • Follows all the operational procedures in the support of databases and applications.  Assists to develop and optimize these procedures.

  • Segment Management:
