How can I find out what the available balance of my MTN PayAsYouGo account is?

You can find out what your available balance using one of the following ways:

  • Dial *202# and SEND
  • Call 2020 and follow the instructions
  • Contact the MTN Call Center at 136


How can I Top Up my account if I am abroad?

If you are abroad and you need to Top Up your account, you can use one of the following ways:

  • Dial *202*, then your 14-digit code, then # and SEND
  • Visit MTN Global Top Up or
  • Call 0035796136136


What happens if I don't Top Up my account?

After the expiration of the validity period of your last Top Up, the following will apply:

  • Your available balance will be lost
  • You will be able to receive but not make calls for 90 days
  • After 90-days period and if you haven't already credited your account, your line will be disconnected and you will lose your number
