MTN Madwalk 2017: a spectacular show inspired by MTN

Posted on: June 8, 2017

The ultimate fashion music project MTN MadWalk, which features collections of well-known fashion designers together with live music performances of popular artists and was co organized by MTN, was successfully completed at Nicosia State Fair on the 30th of May, recording the highest public attendance ever.

The impressive show returned for a 4th consecutive year, this time renowned with street style mood and industrial aesthetics. Celebrities, designers, models, entrepreneurs, media executives, artists and fans of MTN MadWalk enjoyed a spectacular show full of music and fashion.

The show started with a special act inspired by the yellow colour of MTN, with presenters Thodoris Marantinis and Evelyn Kazantzoglou giving their best to an unforgettable night.

MTN surprised everybody that night with its ‘360 glam moment’ booth that was set at the entrance. All attendees had the chance to live their own glam moment by posing to the 'MTN 360 glam moment' and sharing their 360 glam video on Social Media. The ‘MTN 360 glam moment’ booth was an innovating surprise at this year’s MTN Madwalk, proving once again that MTN successfully combines technology with fashion in an original way. People who participated in the ‘MTN 360 Glam moment’ activity were automatically included in a draw for MTN’s big prize of the night, a creation by any designer participating in this year’s  MTN Madwalk.

MTN’s CEO, Philip Van Dalsen, stated: «We are happy that MTN has co organized this impressive show you all watched tonight. It is important for us that we actively support this project that gives Cypriot fashion designers the opportunity to present their work through a spectacular show that combines music with fashion.  The 4th MTN Madwalk was characterized by unique industrial aesthetics and I am sure that people attending the show tonight enjoyed it to the maximum».
