MTN Cyprus, participates for the 10th consecutive year in the MTN Group’s corporate social responsibility voluntary program "21 Days of Y'ello Care". For 21 days, the MTN personnel works voluntarily for a good cause and this year’s activities include the creation of "Y'ello Digital Rooms" at Youth Centres and education of the public about the proper use of internet and technology!

The 21 Days of Y'ello Care program starts every year on June 1st and ends on June 21st. The actions to be implemented this year, include the creation of “Y'ello Digital Rooms” at specific Youth Centres in Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca and the free Famagusta district. The work needed for the creation of the “Y'ello Digital Rooms” include cleaning, painting, furnishing and decoration. "Y'ello Digital Rooms" will be equipped with computers and tablets, so that community members can study and stay up-to-date digitally. The programme also includes the education of the public about the correct use of technology and the internet, so that they can navigate safely and make the most out of the benefits of technology.

This initiative is implemented with the cooperation of the Cyprus Youth Clubs Organization, which is the secretariat of a national network of youth clubs in the Republic of Cyprus. Youth Centres are voluntary community youth organizations that offer creative activities, information and entertainment to young people.

With the 21 Days of Y'ello Care program, MTN Cyprus proves once more that they consider the well-being of the Cypriot community as a priority, by selecting actions that will help the Cypriots to learn how to make the maximum out of technology and internet, without risking their safety.
